Unmodified content and no server list

I just upgraded to a 10,000 rpm hard drive and am having some problems with BF2.
I have always gotten a frequent..."no server selected" and/or 'this server only allows ......unmodified content' after a map change on a server(with old HD).
After switching to new hard drive and reinstalling BF2 I am still getting those error messages and having to reconnect to server plus now I can't get a server list anymore...it worked for a week or so now I see nothing on multiplayer list.

Anyone have ideas?

Yes, I reinstalled BF2 and the full 1.4 patch. The 'unmodified content' problem was also on my old HD and the server refresh problem just started today.
