Just finished playing on a server. At start of game pilots immediately start raping uncappable base. Can't even get in jet or anything else, let alone take off or leave base. I say something and admin is like nothing wrong with that. seems a bit backwards. previous game same server, people are being kicked for attacking last flag the losing team has? What do you think? I am not complaining, just wondering what you think about it.

sux, but I've heard so many stories about crappie admins. A lot of them make up their own rules as they want. Usually threads like these, the player is getting kicked. At least you didn't get kicked for asking...lol
But there are still many that are very consistent and follow their rules. -

fast loading guys, that get in jets before the other team has a chance to spawn in, i often take the f35 fly to airfield and cap it before the entire chinese has spawned in, maybe one guy but hes already at or near the j10 to do anything. loading goes from 1 to 16 then to veryfying in less than 5 seconds, and verifying takes around 10 secs fer me, other people load as fast but they are few and far between, the admin can just put a time limit to start to avoid that.Comment

Basically, you need to find a server where the admin/clan has a certain timelimit before people can join which stops the fast loaders abusing the other team's assets before they've even spawned.Comment

we changed our server rules
NO attack uncaps at any times
this prevents the jet jerks from raping most spawners on many maps
(yes - we all miss the easy kills as well - but is IS more fair)
every day - I go play on other servers - to see how others are managed
IF I come across a game where jets are raping an airfield - well - i simply leave the serverComment

hate to disagree greg, but we have our rules set exactly the opposite.
Its war, period. Clans that make up rules like these on uncaps, or the UTAC thread about punishing clan members are only micro-managing the game and taking away from both their and the other players' enjoyment. I want to go into a server and be able to do whatever -- I've seen the dumbest rules out there: cant attack uncaps, can attack mains only as specops to blow things up, cant steal vehicles, no bunny hoping, etc...
Instead of creating a rule to deal with things you can't handle - learn how to get around them.
Play in a few matches and see where your practice with "no arty on uncaps" gets you -- your doing your clan a disservice as far as match play goes.Comment

Good post misfit. I remember when I first started playin and trying to get off carrier on gulf of oman between bombing runs from other team. At first you have to laugh and keep trying. After a while you just get pissed off. But eventually you make it and go to the other teams assets and blow the hell out of them. I agree there are too many rules now. Cartillery, Supplitillery,what the hell is that. A sniper deserves to be crushed under a vehicle IT'S WAR. What the hell is bunny hopping. About the only rule I agree with is no attacking uncappable bases unless all other flags are taken. This makes sense. Unfortunatley you have to obey server rules or you get the boot. However, I can have fun on just about any server, it's a game. If I don't like server I just leave.Comment
