okay i ahve a pretty old computer and my graphics card sucks so if you could help me out...
im going to get a ATI Radeon Visiontek x1600 AGP
i have a 200 watt power supply i think...
can i play BF2 on this and if i can will i beable to play it on HIGH or MEDIUM? it needs to be axact. \

I am an NVidia man myself, but the card should work fine.. you need to get a 400 to 500 watt power supply though.

I have a 6800 OC and run everything on high with no issues in my P4 3.2 GHz and 1 GB dual channel memory.

I don't.... But I believe that the 200 watt power supply will cause you some issues with that card.

You definately need a bigger power supply.

DO NOT BE CHEAP.

If you get some bargain brand power supply you will have problems. Thats one of the few things on a computer that needs to be of good quality or everything is screwed. Stick with the name brands!

If you do get that card post back if you like it. Ive been thinking about getting something new but I dont want to shell out the cash. Im also still using an AGP slot.

The 200 watt PS needs to go.

As far as connection problems, and lag, it'll help on the lag, but not on the connection problems. 9 times out of 10 that's not an issue you have control over.

How much memory do you have to BTW?
I believe its recommended that to run on high youll need at least 2gig.

I run on high settings with only 1 GB of ram... A decent 500w PS will run you between $80 and $120.

Right click on my computer and select properties. It will list it there.

It will also tell you what your processor is.

look all i have money for is that one graphics card(if even that...), and hopefully a 400 watt power supply. does it make adiference if i get a 500 WATT POWER supply? does it run faster or something? because all i want to do is play on high or maybe even medium settings with no LAGG!!.GOD I HATE LAG!!!!especially since im a sniper
