on the bright side this is battlefield so the unlocks are basically the same

my guess is they know the game is gunna blow so they want to get people buying before they have a chance to play.

Settle down, you get one rank that you otherwise would get after an hour of gameplay. Its no biggie and I'm sure that many who don't realise this and pre-order the game under that false pretense will not be very satisfied.

First off I'm not worried about it because I'm never buying the game I'm just commenting on the sh** that EA is willing to do to scrub a couple of bucks.

Second off the rank is watever but if you preorder if you had gone to the link I gave you. You would see that you also get an unlock that you can get no other way. So basically if your willing to do what they want and buy the game without playing a demo or reading any reviews then you get a good gun...all right.

What would you think of a game where they sold uber weapons (for real money) so you could basically buy sucess. Sure this isnt the same thing but it deffinitely has simillarities.

This will be a unique version of the SCAR 11 which uses a new model and icon and will replace the standard version. This weapon will look and sound different to the standard SCAR 11.

Wow what an offer! A new model with a different sound.

Maybe next month they will tell us they'll fix any problems we want with vanilla BF2 so long as we can get 1000 people to send $1 to EA's office. $1 per change that is.

I understand they are a bussiness and they have to make money but theres so many better ways to go about making money whil still keeping a happy community of players. They have the making money part down but I dont think they really care at all about what anyone thinks. As long as that money keeps coming in.

what bugs me is'nt that they want to make money it's more that theyre making money dishonestly.

honestly=good game and support

dishonestly=ok game that's been ruined by bugs glitches and general oversights by the creators. Then they make their money on half *** boosters they advertise like crazy then dropping support for the one game and going off and starting a new game which is the same as the old one.

Welcome to the world of corporations and shareholders ... most profit with the least effort. You sell record amounts one month, the next month it will become the required minimum.

I played beta....I tried to get into it but couldn't and so I cancelled my preorder :). That's about all one can do. If you don't like don't whine just don't buy it. In the end I missed real weapon models to continue playing....so it was just a personal preference.
