WHERE can you Check to SEE what Version you are running?

I cannot find a readme etc. in the BF2 Folder that verifies that 1.4 has been installed and is now running? The only I.D. I SEE in my present BF2 is when I start the game, lower left corner:
1.1.2963.795.0

I have tried reinstalling 1.4 - just to be sure; it told me that 1/3 had to be installed first, so I re-installed 1.3, and then when I again try to re-install 1.4 it tells me AGAIN to first install 1.3, I click on OK - but it does not re-install 1.4???

that is the correct version number for patch 1.4, dont worry its just weird how they doit lol
