any ideas how to turn OFF mouse wheel in a BF 2 controls?

because u see i have anoying problem with mouse wheel, my middle mouse button is for "ALT FIRE" and when i press it sometimes wheel is very sensitive and i got this table throw pressing ALT FIRE http://img171.imageshack.us/my.php?image=mouseti6.jpg that table with a weapons in annoying me thats why i want to have only middle mouse for ALT fire and for nothing more, i just want that wheel would not work....

is it possible?

I wouldnt be surprised if it wouldnt let you as its one of the default controls for bf2 the mouse wheel int it?

You should be able to alter the mouse wheel in your mouse settings. Otherwise it should be in the game control option.
I've got a logitech G7 and I've got profile options to set the buttons for whatever I want.
