Maintaining a Perimeter

Guys i could do with some help in Maintaining a Diameter in a Chopper

I have dowloaded all of the Heli tutorials and although they are excellent everytime i try it i just spinn round on the Helis Axis .

I am rolling left and pitiching right and powering up and visa versa but i still cant do it .

Any help would be much appreciated .

Try keeping the horizon(horizontal line) diagonal accros from speed to altitude. Constant gas, and put nose forward to tighten diameter, pull nose back to loosen diameter.









I prefer good ole red white and blue Budweiser, if this was helpful.

If you're having trouble with basic circle-strafing, perhaps you're not fit for chopper duties as a pilot. I apologize for being so blunt, but you'd be better off cutting your losses now as opposed to expending more energy in order to become nothing more than a mediocre/average pilot at best: unless your potential is apparent, move on to another vehicle...

What an utterly stupid, arrogant, comment to make. It's bad enough with all the 13 year old TKers, without having to put up with that sort of attitude. This game, and it's vehicles, is for everyone. Regardless of skill. You sound like one of the "get out of my chopper" types, whom I particularly enjoy 'dealing with' on my server.

True although I will make one slight reservation. Everyone should at least practice to the point of being able to fly without crashing regularly in single player. After that go your hardest. Even if someone hasn't done that though it doesn't give anyone else the right to TK or bully them out of a plane/chopper.

the guy with the pictures is mostly wrong

it is actually pretty simple
make sure you use the mouse for pitch and roll
and the keyboard for yaw (= twist and throttle)

if you have trouble
visit our server and look me up (Dragon)

I suggest you check out my stats ( all be it rubbish) . I have logged over 350Hrs Ground Pounding and Armour Whoring and i have left the Air totaly alone until now .

We all have to strat somewhere , you may be an accomplished pilot but tell me this ? Did you junp straight in a Chopper and Circle around flaggs ? I think the answer is NO .

Now this is why i love this forum , Guys like this trying to Help . And yes i would not dream at the moment of getting into a Pilots seat in the Heli on a server with other peole on it ,thats why i find an empty Dragon Valley server and fly away at the moment .

All my heli time and Kills have been knocked up in a Blackhawk Gunning

Heaps of practice on your own server. I crashed a lot in the game untill I dicovered how to create your own practice server.
Practice and have fun.
Love flying in this game.

I think it's on Gulf of Oman at the moment - so plenty of space to practice.

Well you can also get some basic prac in SP dragon, dalian (1 chopper) and daqing. Even though the bots have not been taught what a guid missile is they are pretty sharp gunners and they don't ***** or tell you to get out if you can't hold the chopper steady at first :)

@Sloi ... man I wouldn't have thought that your skills have made you such an a$$. From your videos I judged you to be a decent fellow, i guess my judgment needs major improvement!

The key is practice, practice, practice.
Using theoretical knowledge never worked for me in choppers.
