I have played BF2 for 7 1/2 months for 405 hours. I am 57 years old and a retired 100% disabled veteran. I am a First Sgt. in the game.

My grandfather is a disabled WWII Vet (North Africa/Italy) ((Got his arm blown off by an MG42 during a beach landing on Sicily if I recall right, I joined the local VFW Men's Auxilarry and had to get his DD214))

My dad missed the draft by like 2 rounds, all his brothers drew high numbers like 295, 341, 300... dad drew good old 32 or something and they stopped the draft just short of him. He knew any day he'd get that letter in the mail and be off to Basic...

Anyway, I digress.

I'v only logged around 60hours..Because I only recvently got the game.

And LArry, man, I thank you so much for what you did for our country.

Its always nice to meet a vet in BF2. Not to mention, the older folks tend to be really cool in BF2 imo

My grandpa served as a chopper gunner in vietnam, my great grandfather served in WWII and WWI.

My uncle's unit was sent to Iraq, but he got out of the army before it happend, he got out a month before it happened..barely made it.
