I was loading my map but had to minimize to check on something. Upon maximizing, I noticed the background picture's on the loading screen were gone and replaced with a solid color. The buttons were also outlined in random colors.
Upon entering the game, I see this.
I couldn't spawn or anything, for I was stuck in place. I had to restart battlefield 2 to fix it.
What was strange is, when someone threw a grenade, the explosion went off by making a large orange circle...like the fire in the building. It was like I could "see" the blast radius...so strange. Am I correct in thinking that I was somehow seeing the damage radius (ie fire damages you if you get too close)? You'll notice that the sky is also missing.
