how do i find out what my ping is ?
is it good to have a high or low ping?

On bf2 while playing press tab and its the number on the far right of your name. Its beeter to have a low ping

Any server that is less than 100 should have a good 'feel'.

Single numbers arent always perfect though. You will see your ping update every 2 seconds. if it is 60..65..55..290..160...60..65.. and so on that is not good either. For nice smooth gameplay it should also be consistent.

anything less then 100 is what i play on.

pings of 150 are the very maximum....

300 is my maximum

that's because there ain't a lot of servers in the country I live in(Taiwan)

and my computer is too laggy for maps other than Kark and Mash
