1.4 problem

Okay, i've been out of the loop for a little while, and i just downloaded 1.4. Buuut, one big problem came up: I cna't even start up the game. I click on run BF2 (or play online), my computer hums, screen goes to black (the good black, hte kind that means its loading), and then, it goes back to the desktop with no noticeable difference. Now, i have every other patch, so do i have to A) get the complete patch (shudder)
B) Uninstall, reinstall (also shudder)
C) I'm doomed.

NOTE: I already used search, didn't see anything helpful.

Thanks, i'll try re-patching, but i can't even get to the servers. I i'm probably CTDing though. I can't even see the EA logo when i start up. I'll cehck out the windows update thing though.

Never mind, foyund the problem. Something un-installed all my patches. I get to repatch my entire game. Whopee.

Check out that microsoft patch first, then repatch 1.4 full
