7 CTDs in 3 hours with 1.4 and then I remembered that I hadn't rebooted after installing the patch :)

My friend had a CTD last night when we were the only two people in a squad. I was the SL, and left to go play commander. The second I went commander, he CTD.

I have had maybe 2 since the patch release and had a serveral server crashes.

I had three on satuday. I was waiting at the server select screen for a slot to open up on a particular server. I was clicking on the server every few seconds to refresh it. And of course when a slot did open and i would click to join, Boom CTD!!! Happen 3 times. But eventully i got in and of course i OWNED everyone!!!!! Well not really, but i still kick a little A$$

It's impossible that rebooting could affect the stability of pre vs. post patching.
If 1.4 is indeed more stable after rebooting then it's because something else was causing the problem, not BF2.

only 2 when it first came out. it's been over a week without a hitch, crash, lockup, problem wit connection...

I just had my first CTD on patch 1.4 last night!!! I was playing on a SF server for 3 games, the 4th game had just started, and as I went to spawn CTD!!! This is the first one so far...I had a ton more with 1.3, so I guess that is better in 1.4, but I would like to not have any at all!!! It's bad enough that I lose points for Lost Connections, but at least you can hop right back into a game, with CTDs your hosed!!!
