Who Still Has CTD?

I'm just curious, are any of you still getting crashes priar to the 1.4 patch? I myself have had about 5 or so.

This isn't a hate-thread towards anything, I'm just completely curious to see who is still getting them! I've searched the forums and noticed that actualy, a lot of people are still getting em!

A few but only when first getting in and trying to do too much all in one go like creating squads etc when I'm still lagging in the first couple of seconds, I bet more ram will fix that right up.

I had one on the new map Road.
Was going to p/u a support pack off the ground and as soon as I hit the button CTD.

Bad thing was this was the first round first time I tried 1.4 and on the new map. Was in there for about 3 minutes then CTD.
Haven't played it since and don't plan to. Sik of these damn CTD.

Haven't had a single one since I figured out what caused it in 1.3. I have throughly tested the 1.3 CTD causes in 1.4 and not a single one.

Just 1 CTD here since 1.4.

My problem is more with lost connection to server, which I think is related to my internet speed. Though it's 3MB/384kb DSL it should be ok, but apparently not. I rarely get drops in other online games.

First night after deciding to take a chance with BF2 again. Downloaded 1.4 full and installed without issue. Deleted the shader cache. Fired it up ...

And then... I've had two CTD within minutes of each other. Dragon Valley 64, USMC. Auto balance moved me to Chinese, clicked back on the USMC and went to pick my kit then boom. Restarted BF2, joined up on the server again and same thing happened all over again. Restarted BF2 again, joined up on the server and the round was over with all my friends having departed.

Very disappointing.

I am a PC tech by trade so my system is very well kept in regards to spyware/adware/virii, daily reboots, weekly defrags, updated stable drivers and very limited in what programs/services are actually running while I'm playing. I've always installed the full updates.

AMD 64 3200, on a DFI Lanparty board with 2gb's of OCZ with 7800 GTX and X-Fi.
