I have a notebook... what do i need?

Hey fellas,

I have a hp centrino due 1.6ghz 1024mb with 80gb hardrive. The model no. is HP DV2023TU and i think it has a intel graphics card....

i tried to download the demo and after installation the game doesn't run... can i upgrade the graphics card and if so what would you reccomend to run the game smoothly?

not possible to upgrade the graphics in a notebook as far as i know, and i doubt bf2 supports intel on board graphics

edit; the graphics you have is Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator 950
thats laptop isnt really gamer freindly,

yeah the only cards that support bf2 are from nvidia and ati...intel graphics depend alot on the cpu so yeah

I bought the notebook with the intent for study purposes. I really didn't buy it for hardcore gaming until i had a little taste of BF2.....

deffinitely doesn't play bf2.. to play it with minimal settings you need at least an x1400 256mb onboard with 2 gbs of memory.. i have a duo core 2500 with those specs and it's still a little laggy.. just wasn't meant for hardcore gaming
