Can't say I am.... I mean face it city slicker... 2142 is the next generation of multiplayer-battle the most people are going to move on... thats life and you go with it or stay in the past...

If connection problems bother you, but you think 2142 will be better, you better pray that the game has NONE of the problems that the beta did. - and thats all I got to say about that.
They're the same problems as BF2. If they can't fix one they can't fix the other.
Compared to previous released patches, 1.4 is a tiny step forward. I still get CTD, lost connection every now and then. Though I don’t get them as much like I did in 1.3, the point is, they’re supposed to be fixed not partially fixed or attempted to fix these problems. And yes I have a decent PC for gaming ONLY.
I'm glad they released the patch and increased stability but response time was and has been borderline rediculous. I think they need to now fix some of the major issues in the game like broken code and collision mesh, jet imbalance until they start "adding" more things to it. With 2142 on the horizon I forsee even worse customer service with bf2 .
We'll see though but I still happier than when 1.3 came out but 1.22 has been the best patch thus far :hmm: .

they have no clue that a HAPPY user group buys more product!
even though many will migrate to 2142
MANY WILL NOT - all because they are too lame to make hot fixes as needed

My experience with 1.4 has been good. I have no complaints.
Insofar as 2142 - just like all games these days I'll wait at least six months after release before even considering a purchase. It's nearly impossible to release bug-free software and I'm tired of buying new releases and dealing with the issues.
