Bf2 goes straight to map

When I log in on Bf2 as soon as the account has finnished connecting instead of going to server list so i can pick a server it starts loading a map straight away and I have to hit escape to unload the resources. How do I stop this from happening.

Do not use the 'Play BF2 Online Now!' icon. Use the 'Play Battleflield 2' icon.

The Play Now icon launches you automatically into an online server. You're better off just deleting that icon.

Thanks Talus your a legend, What a stupid shortcut been pissing me off for ages, we play every thursday night with a small group and nobody ever thought off it everybody thought must be an option somewhere.

It's one of the biggest pet peeves in BF2 history.

The worst part is that the ALSO included this annoying shortcut icon in the BF2142 beta.
