uhh... yeah, but alot of people have multiple accounts.

Like me, I have 4..

And then almost all of them are probably in-active people anyways.

I would say there is like 200,000 (at the most) active people playing bf2 right now.

no the only account I have with metallica, and guitarist in them, is XmetallicaXguitarstX...

All the other ones aren't me...

According to DICE, they'd sold 2.25 million copies of BF2 as of the end of June 2006.

I'm still trying to figure out how I have 3 accounts, all with this name, all with this e-mail, and only one with a global score.
I know one was created when I first bought the game, but the other two were created when I tried to retrieve the account the next day (and subsequently a year later).

You can't conclude that yet. 1942 has been out for 4 years by this September. bf2 has been out for over a year. If bf2 lasts that long, it will have sold way more copies than 1942 in 4 years.
