Not ranking? Help

Hey I just started playing the game.

my globle points are 1066 currently and i'm still a lance corporal, the bar has been full for a long time. Its supposed to be 800 points to turn into a corporal. However i'm still not!?!?!?!?!? like I said the bar has been full for a while. It only matters to me right now cus I really want to unlock a new weapon.

Maybe someone can help me out on that as well. I don't know what weapon it is, its the upgraded assault rifle USMC, i think its the g3. But when I picked up this so called g3, right click gives a crazy crosshair; is it the g3?

Someone help... sigh I just want to rank up so I can unlock this new weapon.

Most likely the F2000, and you need Special Forces to get it as an unlock. But for the rank up thing, it may take a couple hours for EA stats servers to figure out that you need an unlock. Once you join a new server and score one point, you should get the unlock. If you don't, just wait a little longer.
