Lately we all know that Infant only leads to all medics and support and dont forget that loveable indestructable Mr. Clay. So I decided to go all out with the gernade launcher. Shortly after some support whore kept getting owned by my GL. He then said"You F-ing Noob TOOBER!". So I told him the STFU with his newb weapon PKM. He actually had the guts to say least it takes skills to use the support kits. I laughed and then said, yes takes a lot of skills to pray and spray and told him to do himself a favor and logg off. And then I said if I'm a newb toob whore then I guess you're a gun whore, youre using the gun too much you gun whore! and stop whoreing the bullets. After that round he logged off. LOL!
Oh yeah I was also called a knife whore

People still have not gotten over the days of when the GL was really bad. It is truely a great tool to have now adays. You really never see them being used.

Yeah, thats true. It's a great way to kill people seeing how it was only called a newb tatic was because of its incredible power and the ability to jump and shoot with. Now it's a pretty equal way to kill someone. But I guess you're right, some people will never get over the countless times its been exploitedly used. I guess in a way you can't really call anything a whore or cheap tatic since it can relate to almost anything.

The GL's used to be whore weapons, nowadays they are more difficultto use than any others, because oftheir arcing trajectory. Everything else is basically a laser.

The hilarious thing is the Medic whores and Support whores aren't actually whoring. They are doing what their kit is meant to do,supply bases of fire,and revive/heal other players.

The GL never did what it was supposed to be, a more orless direct area effect weapon. It was used as an instagib rifle,which is why it's whoring.

As it stands now allthe kits are fairly well balanced,with the possible exception of the poor little AT missiles being a joke. But the Assault GL's could do with an area boost. Make the grenades blast area bigger.

And to top that, we have IO because people just exploited armor at the spawn points of Karkand Hotel...and that is where the term Armor Whore was truely established.

I never played assault, now, I play it all the time, and the first thing I do when I spawn is hit the '4' key and start moving. It is so effective to pop one person with the GL, then switch the the rifle and finish the person off behind. I see nothing wrong with extreme force in this situation.

The players using GL after 1.3 deserve some respect. The GLs are not very powerful weapon now and take so much skill to master.

They are still very deadly, and you need to make sure you are not moving to much when you fire because they loose all accuracy. I saw just how bad it was in JBad a couple days ago, when I was behind the hotel wall, shot to the farside of the wall down the street and missed the target by 20 feet to the left, I was correct on distance perfectly, and that is a long wall...just I was walking behind two enemy soldiers and because I was moving, the shot strayed to the left a lot. Arg!
