Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
i was wonderin if anybody could help me , everytime i try to connect to a multiplayer game i get this error after everything loads or even after playing for a couple minutes
" your connection to the server has been lost"
i have a cable modem and stable internet connection, can anyone help??
thanks for the info guys, i'll try it out; and yes the modem is older than 3 years,
btw i fixed the prob. it was the modem and i got a new one and everything works extremely well.
are you running a dual core processor by chance? If so then that's your problem.. you need to disable one of the cores for it to work.. I have had the same issue for months and this fixed me up right away.. lmk and i'll post instructions or find the link for those instructions

Interesting. I never had the problem described until a couple days ago when I bought a new Processor. An Athelon AMD Dual Core 4600+.
Whats up with that. I am not a computer guy but since I had a 3200+ I figured it the 3200+ was good then the Dual Core 4600+ must be the greatest. If I reboot my computer I don't have the problem for a while. But the very next day, it seems, I'm back in the same boat. How do yo udisable a one of the cores and why the hell did I spend this money for a Dual Core and have to disable one.
Since I put this processor in I seem to be on quite a down turn with regards my success rate in one on one fighting. Is this related?
I have AMD X2 4600+, too and I don't have any connection problems. Install AMD Dual-Core Optimizer - this should fix your problems and you definitely don't need to disable dual-core (is it even possible?):
To disable a processor in dual core cpu's, hit cntrl+alt+delete to bring up the task manager - while running BF2 - then rightclick the BF2.exe, click "set inffinity" and untick processor 2
Well It is not a Firewall problem, not PB problem, no PCI Latency Problem, and i even tried to use smartclose, but none of these are a solution.. so. it would be kind if anyone on this forum could step up and tell us what to do!. so many has this problem right now, and no one does a bloody S*** about it.. please excuse my words but im kinda tired of this problem now :hmm:
PS. i do not have Dual Core, i have AMD 64 3500+... so thats not my problem!

sounds like a firewall is the problem, try disableing the built in windows firewall or any other you might have installed
I can't even play the game now due to this. It worked fine for the first few weeks of 1.4, but now it's just happening constantly. All i get is the message "You have lost connection to the server" or something to that effect.
It's pathetic. And i know it is a newly introduced bug/problem with 1.4. because i didn't have this problem at all with any previous patches.

I have Pentium D dual core and it doesnt affect me at all.
it can't be that patch because when i had the 1.3 patch installed it did this also, but the thing is i tihnk its the ranked server because before i installed the 1.3 patch it worked fine, but then i installed it and the there was ranked servers, and it didn't work.
