Ok, seeing as people open new threads for the hell of it, here's my first one.
I had the funnest round in a long time lastnight and I just have to share!!
And because I now have the expert knife badge I don't want people to think it was pistol and knife server.
I joined on "xtra ranked #09" 24/7 Jalalabad - All weapons - All vechiles .. I joined into a squad with (NZ) Bravo_6_2 and 4 others. They used VoIP and worked as a squad, actually really funny hearing them kill people in weird ways e.g Defib.
After 3 rounds of getting silvers, Bravo always taking home the gold, we got semi bored and extremely cocky SO we started NO GUNS SQUAD!! .. As Mecs mayhem errupted. Rules were only defibs, knifes, nades and road kills, no guns. Bravo stuck to his Defib only, and I used knives (with the revives). So 6 medics driving round in cars and capping flags with shock paddles and knives as defense? First we p*ssed them off by constantly being in their main killing people and roadkilling with tank, then after losing 4 flags we drove back. I got my expert knife badge, 14 deaths 11 kills 32 teams 86 points all up, taking home the silver, while Bravo got 19 kills 30 teams so took Gold. That was the funnest round I have ever played!! We won by a landslide.
The most memorable kill: A guy was sitting in a HUMVEE shooting the turret gun at me as I was driving another HUMVEE in the USMC base, so I turned and drove straight up next to him and jumped out, sprinted around behind him, he got a fright and got into the drivers seat as I jumped into the back. As he begun to drive away with me in it I crawled up to him and stabbed his head while the car was moving :P then got in and got a roadkill on a guy that was about to jump in hahaha.. Anyway, that was my lil story...
Has anyone else tried a NO GUNS!! Squad on a all weapons, non IO, ranked server before? It was hillarious! :p
P.s 1.4 is great, IO sucks and bores me (the walking thing), and Jalalabad is easy
