Why do you find SF so good?

Just played it after long time.. And holy crap, lots of APC & tank whores in Warlord!

- Tank Whores
- No Teamwork
- Never revived
- Stupid commanders
- Lame snipers (hah!)
- G4ymores
- N00bie G3 Assaults!
- Baseraping
- Crappy high ranked players


That's my results from the last 4 rounds of SF. Warlord and Ghorst Town.

In Ghost Town I spawned first, got the flag where Allies Chopper Spawns. Getting in the air, and BOOM, T-90 from Axis base shoots us down in 1 shot!
Second time, we saw his bullet traces... out from the fog. And he still managed to kill us :s



How the hell do I ever get Expert Badges in SF? Without whoring hanger in Iron Gator map....Peace!

Lmao i agree with you so i only play it for tank whoreing because 'if you cant beet em OWN EM!!!!' :p :p and im a good sniper and commander in ranked in almost top 1000 i think so i do really good there other than the fact i have to do all the work by myself..:cry:

Backstabbed - spawned out of nowhere right after you have been near a flag or something. It's so g4444444y!!! :/

dont forget all the people that sit in the palace saying thats the best place to fight and you get most points there.. *end of round* (i score 120 as commander they score 30 with 10 kills and 18 deaths... ) or somthing like that

lol shall we list all the ways vanilla is screwed up too? sorry but everything you mentioned is people related, not just game specific. while i find azzhats everywhere, i find them the least in SF. really quite the opposite experience you had unfortunately.

on the whole, i find the SF community is more dedicated and interested in teamplay. because SF is a totally different mod and not just a booster, i think it takes a different type of player that gets into it. one that really appreciates it for what it is, and hunts it out, not just someone who is playing "what everyone else is". with that in mind i think on average the players are more skilled. and i think most people simply complain after getting owned by skill. what you call a "tank whore" i call someone that is using their assets well.

i'd suggest giving it more time, learning the maps, finding a good server who's admins/rules you agree with and see how it works out. you might be surprised!

Were you on a 24X7 Warlord/Ghost Town server? Play on servers that play all the maps (1 round per map is even better). Find servers that have some rules as well. It's easy to get stuckin on Ghost Town with no flags other than the uncaps. Warlord and Ghost Town are no different than the types of games you are going to find on Karkand and Shaqui. Warlord and Ghost town are the most popular maps, so there are more servers that start with them, but there are plenty of other servers.

Also, if you are new to the maps, you are going to play like a noob against the many that play more SF than regular no matter what skills you bring from regular.

I rack up the anti-tank kills on SF/AF, just play a different kit for your gameplay and you will not seem so handicap.

The only advantages of SF are the additional weapon unlocks and the flashbang. Everything else is pretty much useless.

once you've got a below deck flag there really is no need to go above decks ever again, i never pop my head out just so the heli whores can get an easy kill.

wait below decks for the real players to come down and get the fighting on. fook the helis, let them fly around and pick off the noobies who seem intent on trying to capture the deck flags when our side doesnt have a chopper...idiots

I like SF and have played over 400 hours of it (compared to only 3 hours vanilla) because it promotes team play without giving idiots an unfair advantage like they do when they fly jets in vanilla. I play as a sniper on Ghost Town, Surge and sometimes Mass Destruction, the rest of the time as support and I've never had any problems at all. Sure sometimes you get idiots but the best way around spawn camping is simply not to re-spawn and sit out the round (why up someone else's stats?). BTW, I don't play for badges or ribbons just the next kill that appears in my scope and the claymore is my friend as it protects my back - I just hate members on my team that don't know what the big skull that appears on their screen means.
