Punkbuster error:Corrupted file/memory [98081159]

I'm getting booted from bf2 servers because of this error:

"You have been kicked via Punkbuster for (0) minutes because of RESTRICTION: Corrupted file/memory [98081159]

I've reinstalled punkbuster 3 times, Battlefield 2 twice. Heck, i've even wiped my hardrive. I turned off all my firewalls and antiviruses, scanned for viruses and spyware. Nothing solves it. My theory is that punkbuster has a problem with dual channel memory. Reinstalling did nothing and the memory test didn't find a problem. I've updated my bios to the latest one, and still, hasnt fixed it. I scanned my comp with anti spyware and anti virus software and not a thing was found. I've tried everything and nothing that I do seems to fix it.

I have also been having the same problem, i have not tried installing bf2 or punkbuster though.i hope someone knows a way of rectifying this. Thanks

are both of you using a legit version of the game?

and or using a *****/dvd crack?

the reason i ask is because of this thread from PlanetBattlefield

im using an original copy but i recall installing a no cd 1.4 crack from gamecopyworld.com, after applying the crack, i had no problems for a day or two.after that it just kept happening. ok i just read the post, looks like i have to reinstall everything.thing is i deleted the patch after installing it well i have no other choice, do i? haha

there are mini cd/dvd images on Gamecopyworld that you can use that shouldnt cause any problems

hmm do u have the link for it? i just dled the full patch , am gonna reinstall everything and see if it works
