    Helicopter help.

Okay, I am a pretty good pilot and I can fly well but I need some help on how to use the missiles accurately from a distance.

    Cheers.

The gunner can use TV-Guided Missile and the Minigun. The pilot uses the missile on the chopper (no tv-guided).

mabye hes referring to the rockets in pilot seat, or hes asking for advice on tv guided missles, he just said it wrong...i dont know...

If you mean the rocket pods (pilot missles) lead the target judging on speed and distance instead of holding the aimer on the target....practise on bots, always useful

          Corrected -WATCH ME!

Maybe hes trying to do both, or maybe he has confused himself, seeing as he has not replied back. If trying to do both, watch the above vid, like a game film and take notes.

It is the first couple of times, some gunners I have are hopeless so I have to take matetrs into my own hands.

            Thanks for the replies guys.

Yeah, there is no real strategy, just practice practice practice until you find a technique that works 4 u. cheers!

                  Re: Helicopter help.

If it's TV missiles then make your aim ajustments early.

                  Practice
                  Practice
                  Practice
Practice etc etc etc... Get the idea?

Hellfires or hydras? Practice, but I have to be honest with you: having the ability to accurately predict what your opponent will do, estimating his location by the time your shots arrive and firing them precisely are a major part of being successful with both. Unless you 'get it' naturally, you probably won't be able to roll with the big dogs but at the very least, your ability to engage land vehicles (much less to calculate) will increase. Good luck.

Sloi I'm dissapointed in you.. Hellfires aren't in the attack choppers, those are the missiles that go straight up and come down on the target.

i think the hellfires are the tv-guided

                          Re: Helicopter help.

Here is what I do if you are talking about the pilot's missiles.

If my gunner is retarded and can't kill anything, I'll usually fly perpendicular to the enemy chopper. I'll "lead" my missiles, meaning that I fire just slightly ahead of him, so that they strike his chopper all along the sides.

As for the TV guided missiles, grab a buddy, go into a large, empty server, and have him line up shots for you.

hellfires are the pilots missiles and they are considered "dumb" as in no targetting system that guides them afterwards. fire and forget.

and i agree with what most have said here, simply practice and do it lots. :) you can get a feel for it the more you do it. some learn it faster, some learn it slower, but EVERYONE can learn it.

one day you will find yourself in a downward pointed, sideways sliding twist and hitting ground troops each with one missile at a time! omg i love days like those
