Rank & badge question

Was wondering if anyone can provide an answer.

I'm just about to get my 150,000 rank, but am wondering about the next two ranks, there seem to be two ranks, both at 180,000. One (one star general) has requirements such as vet aviator, chopper, transport etc.

And the other rank (two star general), (180,000) has requirements of having all the combat expert badges.

Now my question is, I have done sod all flying, but have all my combat expert badges, will I go straight to this rank at 180,000 or will I have to get all the one star general requirements first (ie...avaiator, which I only have 7 hours clocked up.

Also another question, anyone have advice on getting expert explosives? I have tried with claymores on karkand (hotel flag) and I can get closish..but no cigar!

i didnt think any rank required any expert badges. i think all vets is all u need, then its all down to global pts.. isnt it?

anyways the difference between the 2 180k ranks is that one requires Vet combat badges & the other requires all Vet vehicle/air/ ground def badges

dont forget you need playtime also. if you dont have all the necessary badges for Brig General you will only get Colonel, just like the whole master searg & 1st searg incidents

Vet badges aren't the problem...it's the time .

You must get all the 1 star requirements done before you the 2 star requirements matter. If you want any stars, I would knock of all the 1 star stuff. You should have plenty of time between 150K and 180K. Now if only the 4 star stuff was more clear.

If u do not get all the badges before the promotion, u will not get promoted at all. you'll be stuck at Colonel.
