French Army Bug??? (Eternal White flag)

Don't know if this has been reported yet, but was playing SAK as a MEC on the =ESU= server. I spawned at the Factory flag just as one of the US guys broke thru. He started to capture the flag, flag turned white, and then he was killed by myself and a teammate. Commander did a UAV scan and no other US were anywhere close to the flag.

The funny thing is, four MEC infantry (including myself) and one of the APCs rushed to the flag to turn it back over to our side, but the flag would not turn. It was stuck on white. We sat there about 2-3 minutes, all to no avail.

Unfortunately, I have no screen shot. Has anyone else seen this 1.4 bug?

thats wired, because some times, on single player, the flag will go up, like its your base, but it still indicates that its white. also, i was about 200m from a flag, and it showed that flag thing, like i was 5m from it.

Try leaving the area and then reentering. i dont see what this has to do with the french army.

I still dont get it....is it in reference to France surrendering to Germany during world war 2? If so, its a politically incorrect and insincere joke.

Believe me, we tried everything, there were no enemies near the flag (UAV was in overflight) and there were ample MEC soldiers around the flag. It was as if the US soldiers duct taped the flag down.

BTW, did you know that French tanks have six gears?






Five for reverse, and one for drive just in case they get flanked by the enemy. :laugh:

This happened once on Ghost Town at the convoy. Couldn't cap it as Spetsnaz but the SAS could.
