do the Americans on here also agree that sympathy should also be shown to the thousands of innocents killed in the middle east since 911 (as a indirect result of 911 thanks to W)

What about China, Austria and Finland?

I don't think you can generalize them the same way. :)

Not at all....I sympathise with USA on the 911 tragedy....it was a horrible day

But we alos need to recognize the pointless loss of life since then as well

You know that +/- 50% agree...but 50% aren't enough cause, not the man, but the whole people that gave the orders for that are still in the command posts(election results)...I'm not american, not even close but I don't generalize US people as, revenging and exuberant malitious bastards...I don't and we all shouldn't...This is what's happening in this thread...

            Re: 9-11-01

i'm tired of hearing about 9/11. i was mad when it happened and i wish they killed everyone behind it but they had other things on there mind. if you think about it. only 3,000+ people died. that's a drop in the bucket compared to the people that die in the US every year.

The total number of people killed in highway crashes in 2001 was 42,116

more than 20,000 people die from the flu and its complications every year

There were an estimated 15,517 murders in 2000

we kill each other way more that anyone else kills us. i think all this 9/11 stuff just empowers people when they see how upset and scared the US people still are.

there will be more attacks and your going to have live with it. look at other countrys that have mass killing. they don't make a big deal out of it. my god it's been 5 years. if it wasn't for politicians trying to scare people into voting for them. there wouldn't be this much covarge. my god bush has made a speech every day for the last two weeks and that's all he talks about. you better vote for us, or the the big bad terrorist are going to get you.

As of 2006, the population of the United States is 299.7 million. so what's the chance of you getting killed by a terrorist. slim to none unless you join the armed forces.

Ace it had fictionalized scenes and characters, some of the events in the ABC documentary were completely false.

And I will take that to the bank.

I've rethought it and decided this thread shouldn't be in BF2 Discussion. There's a thread called "9/11 Memorial" in Off-topic, if you would like to post about 9/11 there. As to my comment, I stand by it. And I will tell you right now, most Americans don't think like me. They believe the news, whether it's right or wrong, they believe politicians, whether they're right or wrong. I didn't want to start a flame war, but I rarely post, if ever, about my political views. Anyway, lets skip all that junk and remember the victims of 9/11, not the stuff that came after it or what people thought about it.
