Expansion packs and new weapons...

Hi at the moment i don't own any other expansion packs for bf2 (because i suck) but what im wondering is this..the weapons i see people carrying around like the medic gun with a pathticly accurate aim and 3 shot fire (no not the first usmc one) belongs to which expansion pack? armored fury? special forces? or the other one which is euro something..

anyway theres my first highly noobed question which is full of noob spelling mistakes and bad grammer no doubt...heres my second one.

if i got that game and installed ect..how would i get my hands on these cool weapons? at the moment im a staff sergent...so how?

i see...special forces has the rest of the slick black guns? i can't name most but...f2000 and that black sniper rifle with the narrow aimer oh and the black support gun which is great aswell...

The maps in SF are fun too, they provide something different when regular BF2 starts getting stale.

To get the wepons you'd have to install special forces then play one full ranked round, then when you play regular BF2 you'll get that rank up music and several unlocks(one unlock for every rank you've gotten so far).
You also get 2 unlocks per rank up instead of 1.

I haven't got an expansion pack & don't really care because I got BF2 for free from a bored-of friend. I've unlocked all but the PKM (because I hate it!). If I installed SP, and then played a round, would I get the dutdut dutdut dut dut rank up and all 3rd unlock weapons thus far? (minus gay support)

Yes. Plus you would get some new maps with SF. I'm telling you the maps are a lot more fun. No jets bombng you and it's a lot closer to Intantry style. There is the odd chopper here and there, but nothing too out of control. Give it a shot!

If all you want are the unlocks then you dont have to get it. Just play a round of it with your account.

I was wondering the same thing. I've had the fortune of being revived with the 2nd sniper unlock a few times... pure ownage. I'm good with the M95, but the L96A2 is too sweet for words.

I'd just rather save my money for BF2142.
