Logitech MX700 Problem w/ BF2

I am having a couple of problems that I am not finding a solution for. I am running BF2 on Win XP using a Logitech MX 700 Mouse. My problem is that I can not get the game to use the mouse wheel. It recognizes the other buttons just not the wheel or the other scroll buttons. I have tried to use the latest logitech drivers for it and I have tried the default windows drivers niether works. The mouse works fine in the Windows enviroment.

Also, no matter what key I map to crouch I can not seem to crouch in the game.

If anyone has and solutions to either of these problems please let me know. I am new to the BF2 playing world and have not had much xp with other FPS games. Thank you for you time.

If your using the setpoint drivers assigh the button to a key stroke or generic button. That should do the trick.
