So who's game is actually running smooth with no problems?

Well with all the problem posts I thought I'd go a different route, my game is running great I have no problems of stuttering, kicks to the desktop or connection problems.

I have a 3 year old computer consisting of

AMD A64 3200 s939 single core
Gigabyte mobo
1gig corsair memory
X800xt

I uninstalled the old installation of BF2 by going into add remove programs removed BF2 and SF restarted the computer, installed BF2 then SF then the 1.4 patch and the game runs great for the last 2 days played like 3-4 hours straight with no problems

Settings are all high except for medium on textures resolution is 1280x1024 with 6x AA. Once I get 2 gigs of memory Ill be able to bump up the textures to high.

Mines going smooth only problem so far was a crash to desktop last night =(

LOl I run med/highes no problem smooth no crash gonna upgrade 2gb to run MAX OUT lol

mine is i loved the new patch. The biggest problem i had was CTD which was a pain thats fixed and we have a new map whats not to like?

No problems here, im nice and smooth awaiting another gig of RAM soon.

Smooth here...everything on high except dynamic lighting.

My Rig isnt making it crash its the game...i seriously doubt that dual 7900s and 4 gigs of ram will crash all maxed out graphics...this is the game crashing because they never entirely fixed the CTD

running fine now. at first 1.4 wouldn't boot up had to use incremental but runs smooth for me. all high AAx2 on one gb of ram constant 70fps

I play a lot & the crash to desktops have not been completely fixed. Still suffering several of those a day. But, no connection interrupts yet. Servers seem more stable than before.

I guess the more u play, the more u will experience. What's perfect?

Runs perfect on my 2 gaming PC's.

I run bf2 on two pc's.

AMD 4400 64
2 x nVidia 7800ocgt
2 gig Corsair
Audigy 2

Sons pc.

Intel 2.8 HT
ATI X800
2 gig's kingston

My PC all settings high as they can go. Sons pc all settings on Med.
