Whao! I just came to say how BF2 was not as enjoyable as it could be and I get that!!! I enjoyed POE2, not because of the weapons or skins, but rather because I found less people worried about stats.
Smart has nothing to do with it. I do not pretend to be an genious and I sure could not have created BF2. That does not mean I have to shut up! Yes they are in the business of making money. But they have a following of player that started with 1942 that is getting tired of the bugs and other crazy stuff. I don't care which weapon is nerfed, I'll use another one, but I enjoy the combination of armor/air/infantry. That is where BF2 is so different from the rest. I was just pointing out that in general it is rare to find a enough player (outside of clanmates) to enjoy this aspect of the game in a public server.
I will add that playing BF2 in the world tournement and in TWL has been the most fun I ever had in online gaming. Maybe it has to do with EA desire to have an "arcade" feel to BF2, something I did not feel in BF 1942 or BFV.
What is it with people's agressiveness these days. I agree that the changes have been anoying. I got over 700 hours myself in pubs (2 accounts) I would not have that much if I did not like it at all. I also bought the SF, EU & AF packs and I pay for a server. Can I at least speak my mind without been all the F words?
I do not mind criticism if constructive, but please explain to me what swearing adds to this conversation, outside of raising people's blood pressure?
What I could have said was, if you can do any of the things below frequently (apart from nade spam, which is the 1 point I agree with you about), you have my respect. However if you fall victim to these things frequently and decide to whine about it on the Internet, you have nothing.
-Jumping to a crouched position and headshoting 1 guy in the head at 25 yards.
-getting up a ladder, going into a crouch position and headshoting another sniper at 400 yards
-Having someone drop ammo while you nade spam through an entire round on "great wall"
-Being able to drop C4 and detonate within less than 1 sec
I say that if you can do any of those efficiently and consistently, you either:
A) Have macros and thusly care too much about the game,
B) Practice too much and thusly care too much about the game, or
C) Hack and thusly care too much about the game.
Look at my stats man. I do not care much about it, I do not fly, or spend that much time in armor, I love the grunt work. I don't nade spam, and I don't use C4 all that much. I love sniping, the further the better and of course I jump 'cause you have to to survive. It just gets boring after a while I guess...
I'll always leave room in my heart for fellow snipers. That seems to be one of the few classes that actually requires precision and tactics, something I desprately wanted from Battlefield 2 but never really got, considering the stats make it all about "me me me."
Well I guess that is your opinion, but personally I like the jumping and enjoyed the game a lot more prior the nurfing of infantry movement. There is **** loads of jumping is 90% of all the other FPS games I play, I don't see why these things need to be removed after the games release.
Since your primary position is sniper I get a better understanding where you are coming from. Especially since this games hit boxes / registration isn't great.

100% agree i aint even gunna start to argue over that point, alot of you need to read that and actualy stand up and pay attention to that, because it is just a game and you all argue points with such heart as if its real life.
