First and foremost I hate the term but oh well. I'll use it for the sake of this argument.
A week ago I had the most fun in month playing POE2. Great teamwork/squad play. All the kits were doing their job, no nade spamming, airplanes where mostly taking care of each other, so where coppers, Kinda like what I expected from BF2...
I must say that having had to wait so long for 1.4 and to get so little I was disapointed. You still have to beg people to join a squad, work with you, defend a base or do anything that would help get the win. I am not saying that I would force everyone to play in squads and such, but come on, it would be nice to enjoy some team work once in a while. And here lies the problem. EA, you created something that in my eyes has so much potential.
Do I remember BFV to be any different? Maybe a little, that must be because of the "My Precious" award!!!. I just watch an idiot finish 3/11 after spending the round driving around in a FAV.
I still cannot beleive EA has not implemented a 1/2 sec of "no accuracy" when crouching or going prone. And still the hit boxes do not match animations.... I migh be wrong but I feel like the generation of gamers that has grown up with EA and other since the days for MOHAA and Rainbow6 have come to have a lot of expectation. Not so much about the graphics or other gimik like "knife me and keep my dog tags" but about the feel of a game.
A few things should just not be posible:(especially after A YEAR)
-Jumping to a crouched position and headshoting 1 guy in the head at 25 yards.
-getting up a ladder, going into a crouch position and headshoting another sniper at 400 yards
-Having someone drop ammo while you nade spam through an entire round on "great wall"
-Being able to drop C4 and detonate within less than 1 sec
I know this is a game and not reality, but it seams to me that EA has been catering to the under 20 crowd more that the rest of the Battlefeild series faithfull. I know I know I'm ranting, but I have had almost ZERO fun what so ever on pub servers lately. Maybe I'll just stick with POE2 for a while, that and TWL...
