    Loigitech G5

Just bought one of these and was wondering what people had set the different dpi values for BF2?

    Re: Loigitech G5

I leave mine at 800 dpi or the middle, dropping it down to 400 dpi when sniping. The 2000 dpi setting was always too sensative for me, makes it feel too slippery.

    Great mouse btw.

EDIT: The 2000 dpi works pretty good when your in tanks, the turrents move nice and fast.

Sorry for bringing this thread up again but I'm a having astrange problem with this mouse.

I've set my left and right scrolling buttons to keys 5 and 2 for getting out pistol and ammo or medic bags. This works only the first time I save the settings, the next time I start up my PC they don't work even though they say they are saved, they don't even work in word???

      Any help please. :)

Logitech G5 owns hard, 2000DPI isnt that handfully.
Adjusting settings of mouse (like the DPI"s) will result in major stutter in game (even when the FPS meter says 90). So i recommend u keep it factory settings.
I change to lowest DPI setting(400) when i use .50 on transport and when gunner in heli.

I have both and i hate the copperhead its like playing with a childs toy for me . Im 6'2 and have long fingers so the copperhead seems small to me . Pluss the side buttons on the right are hard to get too & since i change my Dpi alot i gave up on it . Maybe if they made the mouse larger id like it more ?

Anyways around 600dpi & 400dpi for long range . 600spi is low but i find it keeps my gun very stable for firing .

OMG I cant believe anyone uses that Razer crap. I've used my mates Copperhead and it sucks, unlike the Logitech mice it doesnt contour to your hand you have to hold your hand in a retards position to get he Razer Copperhead to fit to your hand.

Folks just cause it costs more then any mouse doesnt mean its generally beter. I mean my MX518 could own the s*** out of your P.O.S mouse.

i highly disagree with you...your opinion is your opinion, i've tried both the G5 and my copperhead...and frankly IMO the G5 sucks, it's a matter of hand preference you negative @sshole.

Go into Mouse Game Settings then advanced game settings . Now hit browse and find the bf2.exe in program files or wherever you put it . Now the tilt wheel should work . I had a problem for awhile where it wasnt working at all . Think the last driver update fixed that for me. oh and Btw the right tilt works great for reload allso .

I use the three factory defaults, and as mentioned, lowest for sniping, middle for general play and flight, and highest for tanks and AA turrets.

It is amazing how much easier it is to use Armor and AA with the fast turret.
