Re: G36E: Single or Burst, (Medic Unlock)
Triple burst at all times. Your first shot in the burst is just as accurate as single fire and you can fire just as fast as you can using single shot (and often times the extra rounds are suprisingly accurate). So you basically get an extra 2 bullets for free. I'd much rather have 3x the amount of bullets flying through the air then a longer lasting clip. As long as you manage reloads properly it shouldn't be a problem.Comment

Re: G36E: Single or Burst, (Medic Unlock)
I didn't like this gun at first because I was switching to semi-auto to often. Then I learned you rarely have to zoom with it, just put the x-hairs on your target's neck and let'er rip. The gun does burn through ammo quickly when used this way, so time your reloads, and be on the look out for that 'nade spamming support whore when you get low.
Save semi-auto for those long range shots where you have time to squeeze off one round at a time.Comment

Re: G36E: Single or Burst, (Medic Unlock)
i personally like semi-auto for all occasions. the 3 shot burst always has a bit of a delay between bursts which will often leave you dead against an enemy with a fully automatic weapon. the accuracy is also an issue even in close quarters because of the deviation. you have to aim for just the right part iof the head to kill them in a single burst and then you have to wait to fire another.
on semi-auto the shot always goes where you aim and because i can click the mouse extremely fast on semi i can always beat out burst fire in terms of accuracy and because of the slight delay i can often beat it in terms of ROF. it may be just me tho.Comment

Re: G36E: Single or Burst, (Medic Unlock)
Don't use the G36E.. You don't want all the other players laughing at you right? The G36E is the best unlock. Personally I stopped playing with unlocks a long time ago since other guns require better aiming (What gives me more satisfaction.) It's too simple to kill people with the G36E.. But for longe distance I'm talking about Karkand Hotel to Karkand Square use single. Closer than that use the Burst.
But I think that if you will learn to handle the others (AK-101, M16A2) You will get better aiming but that's just my thoughts on the subject w/e..Comment

I was actually looking at the new weapon stats the other day and from what i remember the G36E has the same rpm as the M16A2 which is 900 rpm (rounds per minute) and stat for stat the G36E is superior in nearly ever way.Originally posted by tiberiansun292G36E. EWW. M16A1 all the way. has a faster fire rate.
Anyway back to the topic for the G36E i use burst for nearly everything unless its an extreme distance then i swap to single. And im normaly very successfull when doing that with the G36E.Comment

Re: G36E: Single or Burst, (Medic Unlock)
My favourite weapon. The gun owns on single and burst. I nearly always keep mine on burst unless the target is extremley far away.
a tip: dont zoom when your in CQC, its much easier to put the crosshair on there head. Trust me, i use this gun alot and when you zoom when the enemys 2 or 3 yards away, its much harder to get a headshot, + the deviation is much higher when zoomed so you have to keep correcting your aim.Comment
