It's only because of the company being in the USA, then the Company needs to ship it over to other countries. Same with consoles. PS2 came out in Japan first since they developed it, then it shipped over to America then Europe etc.

I can't play the demo but anyone who has, I was gonna buy Faces of War, but does this have the same style or does the same job but better etc. I liked Faces of War though.

good for it, still dont like it,

i grew up with C&C style and games around the same basis im no fan of having limited units

you can flame rant whinge and whine if you want to i dont care, i made my opinion not my problem if no-one likes it.

I'll agree with you on warhammer, but not on CoH. Have you played the multiplayer? No strat = fail

I can barely play the demo. I keep getting a fatal error with mss32.dll. No matter where I download from, I get this error. What could be causing it? I'd love to play the game but I can't get it if I keep getting errors with even the demo.

any idea how I fix it? maybe one of you could send me a copy of your mss32.dll?

on a brighter side, this does look like the best RTS I've seen since Rome: Total War

I just bought the normal version that already comes with Warhammer.

What I don't understand is, why do people pay extra cash for small things like a bonus poster and map. Or with Oblivion a coin and a poster. Seems kind of cheap marketing to me, but whatever.

faces of war > rts clones

You realise that Faces of War is a clone of another RTS which was a clone of another and so on and so forth? Faces of War is brilliant, but its a whole different kettle of fish - this is a base building, territory grabbing, traditional RTS with modern techniques (ragdoll, amazing graphics, realistic tanks, people in bits when they get hit by a big explosion ) whereas Faces of War is a "get your squad and go" - although its still brilliant, its a lot "closer scale" than CoH which is a big battle with multiple units.

I got the sp demo to work. It's an amazing game though, fully destructable environment, good graphics, smashing buildings, blowing up stuff, destroying stuff with Shermans wasting the Axis. Just wondering but can you play as the Axis?

Only thing I dislike about Company of Heroes is having three bunkers set up and just ripping on a little engineer squad or infantry squad and it takes FOREVER to kill just one of them, even though the bullets are hitting them and all around them.

Thank the CoH god that there are mortors.
