anyone still playing it? i want to buy another ps2 because my other one broke. my friend says people are still playing socom1 is this true and is it laggy when playing on line? the only time i played on line was on psp so i dont know how it is for ps2

My brother plays it and there are still a lot of people playin it. And no its not laggy online.

I played Socom1 several times at a friends house and wasn't that laggy. Socom 2 was laggier than playing BF2 whilst downloading the internets porn connection on dial-up. Haven't purchased the third.

Wtf are you talking about ? Seems like you havnt played the game. There are rooms up 24/7. The server list isnt like BF2. You enter a briefing room, and in the briefing room people make games (SmallMaps,Clan Tryouts,Demolition etc.) The game doest lag much. The game is awesome,even though I stopped playing for a while.

I loved Socom II on the PS2, till it broke. Gameplay was better then BF2, maps were better, but the community was really garbage, too many youngsters

Yeah, there were a lot of young people on Socom2. I was one of them, but I wasnt annoying as them. Especially kids with a squeaky voice that never gave up the microphone.

Yeah I remember playing with my best friend in RL in a game where after nailing him every round he got his mom on the mic, aaaah good times! :p
