Vanilla and Special Forces?

Heya,

this is going to sound like a really stupid question, but when they bring out an update (like 1.4 for example) does it also update Special Forces as well as ordinary BF 2 and Euro Force or Armoured Fury?

That sounds dumb, but i was going to play SF later but i couldnt bothered if i had to get a new patch, i was just wondering if a new patch they bought out updated both of them?

Yes, if you watch it patching it says updating xpack (SF) the other booster are apart of BF2 itself,
