Unlock advice

I know there has been many posts on it but i havent asked anyone personaly what guns I should choose.
So i just got ranked up to sergeant
i dont know when i will recieve my notification but whatever.
When i Do get to unlock two guns i think i would choose from the SCAR-L, The MP7, The MG36, the MK3A1, and The DAO-12. i Dont often play support so i think i would scratch that one
I play anit tank alot more these days but i like engies too. What should i do
is there any guns i mentioned i Should rule out, I own SF so i get two.

personally, i hate all of the AT weapons, and the jackhammer is only useful in getting the mp7. i like the pkm more than the mg36 anyways, and the scar is a sweet gun

Best thing to do is try FFolkes Unlocks in SP so you can check out all the weapons before you buy.

MK3A1, DAO-12, MP7 are only good up close, but deliver a big punch.

MG36 has very little recoil, so that's good at distance. Scar-L too.

It's best to have a balance. That way, if you play a city map with a lot on CQC, then those short range weapons are good. And if you play a map with long distances, like Gulf of Oman, you'll have an accurate long range weapon to choose.

i would go with the DAO-12 and MG36. best of the lot IMO.

Close to what I would say. Ask yourself, what kit do you like to play the most, what ones you plan on playing in the future. What style maps do you play on also, because that will determine some of your unlocks.

Finally, either get the FFolks mod or just run around the battlefield and pickup peoples kits on the ground. You can learn something from what people had their weapon set to and what they were playing with. (just make sure to reload when you pickup a kit, someone might have died because they were out of ammo).

FYI...

I am in the process of updating all my Unlock mods for BF2, SF, EF, and AF for 1.4. The ones I created for 1.3 are not compatible with the 1.4 patch.

It sounds like you have SF. Make sure you don't sell yourself short with your 2nd tier weapsons either, because you have to have the 1st tier unlock to get the 2nd.

Based on what you said, I would go with the DAO. Great for CQC, but not effective outside with long range shots. What maps do you play. Because the DAO is good on Sharqi and Karkand, but you might be at a disadvantage pulling it out on Oman.
