G3 is best fired single semi as its deviation does sway around a bit in full auto i find, but ive found my kill ratio seems to have gone up cos of better accuracy in single shot, just need to learn to have a quick left mouse digit, helps if you got a nervous twitch in your hand .....lol

I would suggest single myself. I don't use any weapon on automatic and I don't play support; often.

If you need to get bullets out faster in close range just shoot from the hip, and click faster.

The only time that I would use the semi rate of fire would be in a quick close quarters area. Other then that I always have used the single shot mode.

biggest mistake i see with the G3 which is my weapon of mass destruction is ammo you have to get out of loading a new mag after every exchange as unused round in magazine are dropped

Looks like the G3 is best on single-shot.

The deviation of additional shots for the G3 is higher than both the AK-47 and the AK-101.

G3 vs. M16A2

Even the M16A2 is better while moving forward or strafing after the first shot - G3 is better while standing/crouching than the M16A2 on the first shot.

G3 vs. F2000

Looks like the F2000 is just better except when the G3 is zoommed.

I usually just leave it on full auto and fire in 2-3 shot burst. If it is a long range target I might change to single shot.

I don't use the G3 that often though. Prefer the Ak-101 or F2000
