We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.

I reinstalled the game lastnight and played for about half an hour with no errors. This evening I got this in 3 seperate servers within 2 minutes of joining:
Corrupted File/Memory [98081159]
Not really sure what that meant, and I couldn't find much on evenbalance's webpage :hmm:
your having the same issue as me. I searched for my issue to see if anyone else has had it and poof you appear, you posted sep. 8th, you still having the issue?
No, I reinstalled my game and it worked. I downloaded the 1.4 patch from a bit torrent site. It supplied a cracked exe and the core.dll, which is what I think did me in. I don't need it because I own the game. Reinstall the game first, worked for me :)

I too got the error after manually installing the ***** crack for 1.4 in lieu of my perfectly working Daemon image I always used...
Going back to Daemon solved the problem.
It has to be that core.dll file doing this...that's my guess too.
This is why I always rename the old files to .old instead of replacing them...makes reverting back so much easier than reinstallling the whole game :)
