people say that if u unistall all the old patches u have less bugs and no lag


so if i go 2 1.1 will it be better and will there be lots of servers or just like 3


plus did u know that the bf2 demo has like no problems

i have a 7600gt and playin the demo at max settings with no lag or anything like that

but with bf2 i play and i have it on medium settings with terrian on high and lights and shadows off and theres a **** load of laaaaag

I think there are still quite a few demo servers out there. As for the 1.1 servers, I'm not really sure. Might be a few but finding a low ping one might be tough. Try it out and tell us what happend.

there is still about 400 people playing v 1.1 on unranked servers

go to patch 1.12 that is the height of the patchs

If you run anything but 1.4, you will be hard pressed to find any populated ranked servers.

There still seem to be a fair few servers running earlier versions but, IMHO, 1.4 seems pretty good to me. If you're having issues you might want to try and work out what's going wrong instead of using an older version.

Whats going on is the patch is garbage, Im pretty sure everyone had a massive increase in lag and some are just to dumb or have to great a system to notice.

1.00 Is better in everyway in terms of performance - especially with the net code.

servers not running the current version are being shut down..

so you will need to patch up to 1.4
