    Whats your ping???

    Hey everyone, just wanted to know what everyones lowest ping is on BF2, when I mean lowest ping, I mean your lowest ping on the nearest servers to you???

    State your connection type, for example: ADSL, DSL, cable, T1, etc.
    Also state your current dowstream and upstream, for example: 1mb, 8mb, 15mb, etc.

    I live on the east coast.
    My ping is currently like 90-100 on all east coast servers, witch is really frigan high. I currently have a stupid 1mb modem but I am getting a new modem next week with ADSL, my downstream will then be 8mbs and upstream will be 1mb. So hopefully this will greatly lower my ping, do you guys think this will help??

          ouch, yeah high ping is not fun, hopefully this will help mine go down, what you have for a service provider?

                  oh, yeah you don't see a whole lot of servers around there. I live in vermont on the east coast and there are no servers anywhere around me.

                      there used to be a good kuwait server but it went offline around the 1.2 patch. i got a ping of around 50 then... good times ...

                                  yeah, I live up in the boonies, I mean deep, deep, hard wooded area. I have to have four wheel drive to get up my road in my truck. The only service provider ballsy enough to come up our road with ADSL or anything is our phone line provider VTELL, there not the greatest ISP. My friend has Verizon DSL and his ping cuts mine in half, he only lives about 6 miles down the road from me, but he also has a fast modem to....

                                      I have DSL. I get around 20 - 50 ping in East servers. =)
