    Reinstalling Windows XP Pro SP2

    Removing Router Completly
    ReInstalling BF2
    Updating my Chipset drivers (nforce4ulta)
got my connection checked by ISP, All cables checked, modem, everything.
    Updating Punkbuster

          try Start > Run > Services.msc

scroll down to windows(wireless) zero config (i think vista dont have it :|: ) and right click and stop, see if it changes anything

doesnt matter if your using wireless or not, it got rid of that message for a me and im wired now

Could be a ram issue ,2 gigs is a must to run this game well ,other than that try lower your settings im sure that will fix the connection probs.

If you are using the Onboard LAN try a new driver or a pci Ethernet card.

                - nForce4 built-in Gbit MAC with external PHY :
                - NV ActiveArmor
                - NV Firewall
                - AI NET2
These seem to **** it all up on bf2.
