Wow. I am a bit nervous to ask but how is play in single player maps? I ask only to make sure its not something throughout the game. Also if you used the incremental install could you give the full a shot? We have noticed some problems with the incremental install for some players.

what do you mean by single player? I dont have pings on that!
this is the full 1.4.
by the way it's leveled somewhat now I only get kicked for the odd spike now and again (which is normal) but pay heed and try to level out problems like these in 2142 otherwise I think people will lose some faith in DICE.

If anyone is getting high ping spikes like every 10 seconds, i found out it was my firewall (zonealarm) causing it, by closing it down my gameplay has been really smooth no lag or loss of connection.

ps. since installing 1.4 i have not yet had any CTD yet only had the high ping spikes but that is now resolved.

Dethred...your proof pics hit my problem right on the head.

My game wa runing fine, exept for the CTD stuff.
Then a week before the 1.4 i started to get this weird skipping in my frames.

I went so far as to reinstall windows to find the problem and nothing.
I even figured it was my ISP but I have tweaked my cable cennection to the max and still having the same problem.

even just with a server of 16 players i will endup doing a total 180 ingame.
totaly agravating i must say and garbege in a firefight.

Its almost like my cpu is spikeing ingame when im online.
But i have no prblems playing fear at full without shadows and HDR.

I have got EXACTLY this problem, I think it happened for me a week after the 1.4 patch was installed. Is this a problem with punk buster or something like that?
