BH admin abuse - a new low

ok well i know that we all know that there are a lot of admin abusers out there but today really blew me away. i was banned for playing on the BH server, literally.

i felt like having some fun in the chopper and since dragon valley has two per team, i didnt think it would be hard to get one. i found myself wrong very quickly after waiting for the choppers already out there to die and respawn.

bh admin Aqualan1 threatened to kick me because i got in his partners gunner seat, fine - i hopped out and decided to wait for the next chopper. so i wait and wait, but the other guys kept getting in and they even made me bail out once. finally i get in the driver seat and the guy who made me bail out the first time was my gunner. so i wasnt going to give him any free ride for being a jerk to me earlier and asked him to bail out. next thing i know, the admin BANS me for "chopper team interference" on a public server.

sorry, ummm... i did not know this was an official rule? i thought this was a EA trusted server yet they BAN you for taking a vehical that you have been waiting a long while for?

ps. yes, i also hate it myself when someone comes up and tries to get in the heli when my buddy and i are doing a great job but, i usually give them a shot and see how they are. yes i'll say bail out the first 10 seconds but if they dont leave then im not going to make a stink. however, this was not the case =/

if bh has a website, id like to report this to a respectable admin before this idiot does something else stupid.

thanks, i reported it. too bad my scrn shots didnt turn out. i was sure that i was taking scrn shots and i was positive i took it when i got banned but there not showing up =(

maybe i was pressing scroll lock as i use scroll lock + X on xfire all the time lol...

That sucks mate,theres plenty of idiot admins/clans out there,to name a few, OLD BASTARDS CLAN/ BAMBOO COMMANDOS CLAN ,both of these clans kick if you take "their helicopter" or complain about them raping main.Do yourself a favour and stay away from there servers.

OBC always seems to be a good competitive server for me, in fact I actively search and try to get on it. Try going back maybe it was just one or two wayward clan members, I play on their UK server almost daily???

[OBC] are good severs but lately they have started uncap raping at any given op.
plus before 1,4 i was on wake and their commander who was [OBC]
started droping art and jeeps on the carrier when i said something about it he just said ROE man.
now ok i dont want ppl thinking im picking on them cus theirs a lot of severs at this.
seeems since the ROE a lot of clans have tossed away with their old rules
and said hey EA is ok with uncap raping and droping art and jeeps on runways and the carrier.
well 1,4 has stoped the droping jeeps but as for the rest i cant see it stoping any time soon.
i was on their AF sever and they started spawn raping the uncap in road rage .
the entrie us army was just sitting there killing anything that moved .
well needless to say we got our *** kicked .
but as soon as the next round started ppl were asking if anybody knew another AF sever.
i left and hooked up with a m8 on another sever had a gr8 game .
when that was over i droped by the [OBC] sever and it had droped from almost 60 to just 4 ppl.
ppl say hey man its war well if it was youd have taken the flag and i dont think ppl respawn like they do in bf2 :laugh:
uncap raping is just a crapy form of statpadding IMO.
apart from this the [OBC] severs are gr8 fun i just dont like the way things are going with severs lately.

maybe i was pressing scroll lock as i use scroll lock + X on xfire all the time lol...

screenshots taken of the ingame menu, or kick/ban screen arent saved with the other screenshots. you have to exit the game and then open up paint, or some graphics editor and paste it in there and then save. using that method only lets you take 1 screenshot though. -or- use fraps which will take and save as many as you want.

Bad luck there System, some admins can be right p***ks at times, you just gotta let it slide; and if possible report them.

From your post it sounds like you do spend time waiting for aircraft to spawn, may I suggest something that made BF2 far more enjoyable for me - ground pound.

Seriously, I just accept it that 70% of the team are gonna be running to get the aircraft/tanks/etc first; so where applicable (i.e. no FAVs), I go on foot - saves any stress or hassle associated with getting those damned goodies.

Oh and Bickus, I guess you just had a bad experience, as OBC are one of the best server imo.

You might as well chaulk my expierence on their server to the same thing. They kicked one of my clan mates for the same thing but with the other heli. He waited for it spawn and jumped in the drivers seat. One of the BH guys came in the gunner seat. He took off and about 30secs later was kicked for Helicopter interference. I was told by one of the admins I can't remember his name that he has to let another BH member be in the driver seat.

I almost got banned myself because I accidently ran into a heli full of BH guys with my plane. Sorry if I suck at flying and all but you don't have to kick me for it. I even said sorry but they were all mad at me. I didn't get banned though because they kept spelling my name wrong in the console because I could see it saying "Cannot kick leafman as player does not exsist." and so on.

I agree! Avoid the Old Bastards Clan servers if you want to enjoy playing BF2.
