7900GT Frame Rates

I was just wondering what types of FPS people get with there stock 7900GT. BF2 being the game of course and on the highest settings with AA @ 4X. I'm only averaging around 30-70 and it kinda seems low to me, thanks in advance to whoever posts!

I have a 7900GTX so I can't be of more help but hopfully a 7900GT owner will speak up. But that does seem low given those specs.

Make sure you're not forcing any AA or AF options in the nVidia control panel.

PS - what drivers are you running?

The 91.33 Beta driver... I was running the 91.31 but figured I would give the new driver a shot hoping to see some results, but negatory.

Try going back to the 8X.XX series. I have been seeing nothing but problems with 9X.XX

Seems about right to me, your cpu is holding you back somewhat, i get 99fps @ 1600x1200 with 4 x AA & all details highest, game's fps are locked to 100 & can go no higher anyways.

lol i got geforce 6660 and i get around 30-70 lol u may have better card but we will have bout the same FPS lol

I think you mean 6600. If so, I have a 6600GT and the best I can get at mostly low settings is an average of 25FPS. What are the rest of your specs?

I have the same card and i get easy 90_120 fps but then i do have 2 gbs ram.:) Everything on max settings aswell.

Do you really think that its my Processor? I figured that it was cranking enough to be getting some high steady FPS...

I get from 2.5fps-70fps. Usually around 30. Something is wrong with the game and people who are claiming higher framerates aren't paying attention when they get into a heated situation with everything slowing down, hence their 90+fps claims.

I pay attention allright, i know my rig inside out & sure it dips into high 50's under heavy load sometimes.

I mean i've been in the 90's but during action I average from 30-60, I just feel like I should average a little higher with my setup. Plus when I play Tomb Raider everytime I go to shoot the game chops for a second then continues to play.
