Map crashes when

When loading while trying to join game on a network and when trying to load recorded demo. Otherwise it works just fine.
Are these to crashes related to the same problem? Any idea what is causing this?

Hello.

Assuming you're talking about joining a mod, not vanilla BF2, the general advice I've come across more often than anything else is to ensure that your graphics settings are all set to "medium" or better.

If I remember right, USI and OPK both required this, at least in their earlier releases.
