I might be the only person with this problem since v1.4

I haven't really played in a few weeks since I was waiting for the patch but I haven't messed with any of my button configurations for like a year. I use the Z-board with the BF2 layout and I started up my first game of BF2 with the v1.4 patch last night and joined an I/O server running Jalalabad 24/7. I chose my kit and entered the battlefield. I noticed very early on that everytime I jumped my weapons would change as well as jumping. I would leap over a wall with my primary and land on the other side holding grenades or whatever was my next weapon. I started jumping around everytime I was going to switch weapons just for fun but now I am getting tired of these antics. Strangely when I checked my BF2 controls nothing had changed. Weapon scroll was not set to space like my jump setting is. I even checked my Z-board layout and that as well was normal and conflict free. All I can surmise is that the v1.4 patch is what is to blame. Has anyone else experienced this glitch or does anyone know what could be causing this? I haven't seen anything on the forums regarding this issue.

Did you install the full or incremantal. If the latter then please install the full.

Why would they release an incremental if it screws things up? I've heard this said since the first patch.

I installed the incremental but I don't see how that can matter. I can't believe I am the only one with this problem!!!

I used incremental too, no problems.
Did you tried to reset to default your keys configuration?

1.3 incremental was causing problems so from now on i won't install anything incremental from EA.

U came here asking for advice and since i'm not too familiar with that keyboard of your, all i can suggest is a fresh install of bf2 with full 1.4

Try a normal keyboard to check if it has something to do with your Zboard.

I have a very similar problem, but it has to do with my mouse. Before I removed weapons scroll from the mouse wheel, I never knew what weapon I would have when I transitioned from movement to firing. Didn't matter one bit if I even moved the mouse wheel. If I ran/sprinted and then stopped to shoot, I would either draw my knife or grenade EVERY TIME. I lost count how many times I got owned because of this. The worst was when you had the enemy dead to rights completely unawares and you click fire and watch a grenade flip out at your feet. You can almost NEVER outrun that damage and if the nade did not give you away, the "FRAG OUT" message did.

Somehow, one of your setkeys has been changed or needs resetting. Try factory default on the board and then set all of the BF2 controls back to default. Set eveything back up one by one again. This ought to fix your problem.

I have to do this after EVERY patch.

On Jalalabad IO last night I had a round where everytime I switched to throw a grenade and back to my primary, the primary would be in single fire mode. This happened throughout the whole round but when that round ended, it did not happen again.
