POE planes

Good job on the mod, but I have one concern. The planes in this game are practically useless against ground targets and they also have HORRIBLE HORRIBLE handling! There is also a bug with the frogfoot in that you cannot rearm it I really hope that there is going to be a quick fix for this really soon, because I love flying.

p.s. spawn points are too far away.

AFAIK the Frogfoot rearming bug only occurs on Guardian. It works fine on other maps.

I think the hardware in PoE2 is the most balanced of any BF2 variant. I don't find myself getting bombed into oblivion, nor do I feel completely safe all the time. Keep up the good work guys.

We have lots in the works for planes in our next major release. We have heard the concerns of pilots about the current setup.

Ive noticed and a lot of people complained...All the jets/helis seem heavy and thats why you see guys crash to the ground more.

its a matter of getting used i think, i dont like or dislike, the truth is that POE gives me so many options on ground combat (i'm addictedto the damn artillary) and other things besides the artillary that i dont even care about flying anymore.

Everything is a matter of getting used to, so dont cry, adapt. Thats what being a good pilot means, ruling the skies shouldnt be for those who give up easy.

That pretty much goes for everything though, lol. I hope each MOD makes there gear work a little bit different from each other. The more variation and options, the happier I am.

only flew 1 plane in PoE so far...and i was nailing ground targets left and right, keep in mind i cant hit crap in BF2.

Yeah the jets need a little work on them. Mostly handling wise. They should handle like BF2. And I would like to gun and bomb at the same time...BUT I freakin love the cannon on the things.

The cannon is abit poor on the MiG though, especially since the missiles act almost exactly the same (Yeah whatever, short and long range my arse, they both suck just as hard) and plus they are BF2 missiles which automatically make them buggy and useless against fast jets with J10-esque hitboxes and even worse against choppers.

I'd be happy if the MiG had a decent cannon up front to take down choppers quickly, choppers, and i repeat, choppers DO NOT get hit by missiles. Unless the pilot is a proper noob or you switch at the last minute and do one of those things. Plus all it has is speed, which is good for defence but pretty useless in the tiny maps. All in all, the MiG is pretty poor at doing what it can only do, take out Air assets. Whereas the frogfoot can take out air and ground assets easily with the cannon, plus it has bombs.

to kill choppers use the artillary, i killed the same guy twice with the artillary when he was about to take me out, maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan he was so pissed he made everyone leave the server with his crying hahahah
