BF2 CTD on all patches..

I have tried everything. Made sure refresh rates were set to 60, and not locked into anything, updated all drivers, made sure i had the newest version of directx, tried disabling DEP, reinstalling the game serveral times, adjusting the videosettings.con file to 1, renaming the movie folder, as well as moving it. removing the bf folder in my documents, but still i get the same error. starts up to title screen, goes black, returns to desktop... any other suggestions would be huge for me.

2gigs mushkin ddr400
radeon x850 vid card
audigy series sound card
AMD Athlon 64-bit 3700+
Microsoft xp pro sp2
19" Sony 4000 gaming LCD monitor

my game crashes when i joina server it its in the laoding screen.

.net framework?

That has fixed the problem for multiple people in the past...

I'm going to reinstall the drivers just to double check that I haev the right ones...

This is usually a video card issue. Maybe the game cant handle on that card ? Did the game work before ?
